Client Responsibility for Utility Line Identification and Disconnection

ARIZA Construction LLC is NOT responsible for any damage to live electrical or plumbing lines during demolition services.

We are also not responsible for damage to gas lines or any other underground or concealed utilities during demolition work. Before any demolition begins, it is the client's sole responsibility to ensure that all utility lines are properly identified, marked, and disconnected.

Client Must Complete:

  • Call 811 (national "Call Before You Dig" hotline) at least 2-3 business days before demolition to have underground utilities marked
  • Contact all utility companies (electric, gas, water, sewer, cable, internet)
  • Ensure all live utilities are properly shut off and disconnected by licensed professionals before demolition
  • Provide accurate information about all known utility line locations on the property

Not Covered by ARIZA Construction LLC:

  • Damage to live electrical lines or plumbing lines
  • Damage to unmarked or improperly marked utility lines
  • Concealed utilities not properly disclosed to our team
  • Any repairs or costs associated with utility line damage

Client Acknowledgment: By proceeding with demolition services, you acknowledge that you have been informed of your responsibility to have all utility lines properly marked and disconnected before demolition work begins. You agree to hold ARIZA Construction LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from damage to unmarked or live utility lines. The client accepts full financial responsibility for any utility-related damages, repairs, and associated costs.
